This included the creation of a large utility room, a new bathroom, full garage refurbishment, replacement electric garage door, bespoke gates and associated external works.As work progressed, further investigations revealed significant deterioration within the existing roof structure. What was originally anticipated as a roof refurbishment quickly developed into a complete roof replacement, including new structural timbers and natural slate coverings. While not uncommon for a traditional coastal property of this age, the discovery required careful planning and swift decision-making to ensure the long-term integrity of the building.

The quality of workmanship and collaborative approach established during the project led to a further appointment within the main house. Existing floor finishes were removed and replaced with elegant limestone flooring, creating a seamless connection between the original home and the refurbished wing. The existing kitchen was carefully restored through a full sanding and professional respray process, while new light stone worktops transformed the space, introducing a brighter and more contemporary feel whilst retaining the character of the original cabinetry.

The lighting design was also reviewed and simplified, introducing layered feature and mood lighting to enhance the atmosphere throughout the home.

Externally, new gates, garage improvements and carefully detailed drainage works completed the transformation. Particular attention was paid to every element of the design, ensuring the finished project reflected the exceptional quality and individuality of the property itself.

The result is a beautifully restored family home that balances traditional character with modern functionality, delivering a timeless finish designed to be enjoyed for generations to come
