Owned and operated by Perle Hotels, this prominent and elegant hotel sits beautifully on the Oban waterfront, with unrivalled views across the sea toward Mull. For the Twelve Weeks team, this project represented something special — an opportunity to take our standards and approach on the road and contribute to a destination enjoyed by guests from across the country.

Like many hospitality venues, the quieter winter season created a valuable opportunity for essential maintenance and transformation works before welcoming visitors back for another busy year.
Our challenge was significant — delivering a full transformation of The Brasserie Restaurant within a demanding 4–5 week programme to ensure the hotel reopened seamlessly and ready for the season ahead.
Working once again alongside a sensational design by Malcolm Duffin of Malcolm Duffin Design, the vision for the space was exceptional. Existing black ceilings were professionally resprayed to white, immediately lifting the environment and introducing a brighter, more vibrant feel throughout the restaurant. Malcolm’s selection of Zoffany wallpaper became a defining feature within the design — telling a story through texture, detail and character, creating a room that reveals something new each time it is experienced.
Rich colour drenching through the timberwork, doors and radiators elevated the space entirely, transforming the restaurant into somewhere elegant, vibrant and worthy of its spectacular coastal setting. Every finish, detail and material choice combined to create an environment designed not simply for dining, but for people to gather, connect and enjoy one of Scotland’s most remarkable views.
Delivering hospitality projects carries its own responsibility. Programmes are tight. Standards are high. Reopening dates matter. Through careful planning and teamwork, we successfully delivered the transformation ready for guests returning to experience the next chapter of The Brasserie.
